The domestic Biocycle provides an air space that can accept an additional 1,200 litres, should the irrigation pump not be able to pump-out for any reason. In the average household, this gives one to two days safety margin.
The Biocycle system includes an alarm. An alarm plate (audio-visual) is installed within the house, and should be placed in a visible location. The alarm plate is similar to an ordinary light switch, with two coloured lights. Another switch is provided to 'mute' the alarm.
It is important that the alarm only be muted once we have been contacted.

This is designed to sound if the water level in the irrigation chamber reaches a certain level. This indicates that the submersive pump is malfunctioning or the filter is blocked and needs cleaning.

This is designed to sound if the blower ceases to operate.
